NOS or close 1/4 windows January 06, 2010, 07:01:02 PM I sold my NOS quarter windows and now need another set for 87-88 Tbird TC, black moulding. Looking for NOS or real close. I know I can get a set on Ebay for $425, just seeing if anyone has some or knows where to get them. Quote Selected

NOS or close 1/4 windows Reply #11 – January 08, 2010, 09:02:48 PM I did an experiment with a black rubber spray on sheet metal. I believe they can be refurbished if the original rubber isn't to cracked and dried out, I'll try to find my test piece while I'm out in the shop tomorrow. I may use it myself to black out my chrome around the window. It appears to have the same look and texture as the rubber side mouldings. I'm not really sure how it will wear in daily weather though. NOS or close 1/4 windows Reply #12 – January 09, 2010, 07:51:47 AM These MAY work....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/87-88-Ford-Thunderbird-TURBO-coupe-rear-quarter-windows_W0QQitemZ320462736563QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item4a9d114cb3I've heard that one can use different grits of wet-or-dry sandpaper to remove some of the dry rot,and then buff the rubber molding to smooth.I need an old window to experiment on.Now I have another project when the weather clears.
