Anyone Playing MW2 on PSN?

I played it all vacation on my brothers Xbox. So I bought it for my PS3 when I got home. Its even better on the PS3. Much smoother gameplay and looks much better in 1080p on my 50".

Hit me up if you want to play (but I'm still a low rank).

I also got it for ps3. Wanted it for PC but all my friends have ps3.

Its ridiculous how much better it looks on PC. The console versions are actually rendered at 1024x600 instead of the 1920x1080 resolution of 1080p.

Brabby on psn btw. Its a combination of my gf and my names. She plays littlebigplanet.

do you guys find it difficult to aim with the ps controllers,or is it just me.I play so much better with a mouse and keyboard.maybe I just need to practice more......................I really

I'm with you bud. I've always been a PC gamer myself. Fps games belong on PC.

My daughters boyfriend just got off work and got me it on ps3 an hour ago. My Handle is "ilikerum" . I'll prob play the game part for a week or so and learn a bit so my ass won't get handed to me as bad!! . On the plus side everyone has jumped to Mw2 , so i actually have fun on MW1 (not as many people on server).

My son and I actually play MW1 more also. You are right about everyone being on MW2 now though, we hardly ever get a full game anymore. Still fun though :)

I used to be a PC gamer but I don't spend much on PCs anymore. I really wish I could hook a mouse and keyboard to the PS3 to play MW2.

Here's one option for keyboard play.

Beyond that, you should be able to use most USB keyboards and mice.

I don't even know what MW2 is, but it sounds like yet another war game. I'm not a fan of military war games. Maybe a sci-fi shooter like Doom, or Quake, but mostly I like swinging swords, not pulling triggers. I kind of hate modern warfare, so it's hard to find it fun. OK, I think I just figured out what MW stands for. lol

Yo n00b, he meant using keyboard and mouse for actual gameplay, not just typing. That's how shooters on PC are played, and it allows much more precise control.

That's unfortunate, modern warfare was thee most popular online game ever. Mw2 is the fastest selling entertainment in history. That includes any music or movie. I think I read 7 million sales in the first 24 hours.

OK, so the USB (and even PS2 with USB adapters) keyboards work with the system, but not during gameplay? That doesn't make much sense. I guess the game has to be programmed to take keyboard inputs, but since most of these kinds of console games can be played on PC, you would think it was obvious.

The other option would be mice made for the console, like this one.

And I'm totally a newb with the PS3. I've only owned it for a few months, and have yet to play any 1st person shooters on it. I use it for movies and music 90% of the time. :D
