What I have in mind

I have a 88 bird. Gonna yank the 302 and go big block. I am thinking 521 or 557 with a C-6 ending up with a 9" rear. This will be a pro street. I am not sure if I will stay with the stock rear suspension with upgrades or back half it. I figure the tunnel will have to be modified to fit the C-6. Found this site searching around for tech info. I have been wanting to build another car and I am fixing to pull the trigger.

C6 will fit, without tunnel mods, have used them before.:burnout: Although some big block ones have ribs on the top. Cool idea though, keep us updated.

You better put a frame under the car first, or it'll end up looking like a spiral noodle. lol

That and pop glass! I hope good sub frame connectors will suffice. It will be a street car so hopefully traction will not be so good that I break stuff.

If your putting that many cubes I'm gonna guess you're gonna want something far less than 10's from the car.

Back half it - Subframes THROUGH the floor and a cage

I'm thinking 2x3 for the main frame.

I bought the car and did not even drive it.It sits at my friends shop. I am in the Gulf of Mexico on a drilling rig so no pics right now. I haven't hit a lick on it yet.Just got off of the S+W Race cars site looking at stuff.  I have been playing with my 06 Yamaha Fz1 lately.
