Leak

My motor 5.0 has 288K and is running fine, problem, I developed a water leak between the block and the timing chain cover, at this point I want to use a block sealer to stop the leak, maybe around 300K I will re build.
Does anyone know what the best sealer is????????

Blue devil. Just remember all
block sealers are only band aids.  There are many different brands out there-blue devil
is like $60 a bottle.

Not to be a smartass but a new timing chain cover gasket is one heck of a leak stopper.

Timing cover gasket won't leak water. If it did it would go in the oilpan!

not necessarily.  If could always be an external leak.  Pics would be helpful in this situation.
