Gene Rodenbary (Sp) is rolling over in his grave.  Didn't like it.  Not. One. Bit.

On a side note......Leonard Nimoy has to be senile.....

That is wicked!

Now, being a trekkie, did that movie leave you wondering what the hell Abrams was thinking, turning the entire Trek universe on its head? Thanks to that 'Temperal fidling', none of the TV shows or movies technically ever happened. I'm having a bit of a hard time with that myself.

It was an excellent movie, though.

Actually, all the episodes and movies did happen, only in an alternate universe. Abrams was working on the theory that every decision you make, yes, no, right, left, actually they both happen. roddenberry, also covered this in a TNG episode.
This movie is in an alternate universe from all the episodes and previous movies.
Roddenberry actually suggested doing this with Star Trek, along time ago, just never had the chance to do it.:D

I haven't even watched an of the TV shows or any of the old movies, and even I figured that out about this movie haha.

It was an amazing movie, I bought the Blu-Ray version and watched it on my 106" screen it was like watching it at the theatres again :D
