Fuel Injector Pressure Regulator Reply #1 – December 01, 2009, 02:08:01 PM Gas comes out of the vac nipple. Go to an AZ and borrow a Fuel pressure test set. A more common problem is the plastic line in the tank failing. What is it doing? Quote Selected
Fuel Injector Pressure Regulator Reply #2 – December 01, 2009, 03:04:14 PM Rough idle, missing, strong gasoline smell at the engine, and a feeling of running rich.At least, this is what happened to my truck, and I replaced the regulator, solved the problem. Good luck! Quote Selected

As mentioned sounds like the problem is in the tank, BUT most seem to have at least a little of this problem if there is less than a 1/3 tank of gas... Mine does and the baffles are OK.. Fuel Injector Pressure Regulator Reply #9 – December 04, 2009, 08:04:02 AM Also if your FPR is going south you will have gasoline in the crankcase. Look for an overfull oil level with a strong smell of gas. Quote Selected

Look for an overfull oil level with a strong smell of gas.Not necessary, I've seen one that was apparently clogged/locked and would not bypass but never leaked... With a good fuel pump, system had over 100psi(started out trouble shooting a weak fuel pressure problem)... Quote Selected
