Naw, haven't started it yet. Guy won't be available to go up there until after 5. I just wanted to get up there and have a quick look + pics before then.

Search the Mark VII forum and archives for Mark VII purchasing questions.  Just a few more things to look at over a regular Foxbody.  ABS system condition is the most important, IMO.

Is that EZboard or something?

Tried what you suggested. I'm not really finding anything in there. Tried search, gave me different topics than I asked for. Tried going through it alphabetically, the Mark VII archive. Brutal.. nothing.

Perhaps in the tech section? I was concentrating on the forums.

EDIT: Nevermind. Didn't see anything there either.

Interesting choice of fabric on that console. ;) Do I see 'cigarette' burns on that? Maybe you should check out all the cubby holes. You never know, you may get your money's worth out of whatever 'street value' you find.

There's one.  TV cable, AOD tranny, air suspension, ABS system, clean interior (this one has nicely reupholstered seats, that's a plus) are all things to look for.

They neglected to clean out the passenger floorpan and the back seat when they put it out there for sale. Maybe I should take it as-is and do a thorough cleaning.. :p

Don't know. I paid him a $100 deposit, I'll pay him the rest as soon as I can sell my watch and my 351, or my credit operation in the online game. After I pay him off, I'll transfer the title and tag it, which is gonna be a couple hundred dollars. My aunt can drive my light blue T-bird to work so I won't have to give her rides home every day, and I'll drive the LSC. My fiance will get the dark blue T-bird once it's roadworthy, if we need her to. (that's sort of the emergency ride, if one of the others breaks down)

Probably be a couple weeks before I can drive it. I thought the brakes might be bad, but it turned out it was just low on fluid. It is just the relay for the air suspension, so that shouldn't be bad to fix. It also needs a starter solenoid and a couple other things. I'll inventory it tomorrow for a more thorough answer. It has some electrical gremlins, but I expected that.

Oh yeah.. my first-ever car with a CD player.. and it's even factory.

I'm paying him $800 total. He said the A/C works.. and seeing as both he and the last owner worked for A/C shops, I sure as hell hope it works. :p

The last owner before this guy worked for Ford before working for whatever A/C place he works for now. I wonder what that owner did to it. I doubt someone working for Ford and driving a Mark could resist tinkering with it.

BTW, it's sitting out front. :p Pics tomorrow after a cleanup/"search".
