Nothing exciting,but........

I did pick up the 8.8 TC rear yesterday with 3.73's,and today,I made a deal to buy a set of CHE tubular control arms (new with the hardware) for $150.00.Not too bad.I'm going out to the garage to finish stripping the differential down. That's all the news I have today, and I just really felt like sharing.LOL.

I got almost everything off of the differential.I'm ready to sell the disc brake setup (hint hint).I still have to remove the mounting plates from the axle tubes. That won't take very long.I'll put the wire wheel to the diff. and get it painted and then I'm on the lookout for a diff.girdle.........anyone have one to get rid of? I'll probably paint the rear black or dark gray (maybe the gray wheel paint).I have plenty of time to get it finished.I have a guy who wants the currently used diff.  I'll sell it to get the girdle unless some trading is in order.I would like to figure out how to make the quads work with the 10 inch wheels.

I'm not rebuilding right now.I may not need to at all.The car only had 56,000 miles on it,and they looked like easy miles. The car was in very nice condition (except for the wreck and vandalism). The carpet was great, the seats were really nice, just a nice car.As I said, even the brakes all around were new.
