5 lug axles turbo coupe rear brake ? November 13, 2009, 07:11:04 PM Would it be possible to use 94-98 Mustang axles in a turbocoupe rear end, drill out the rotors and be good to go? Thanks, Mike Quote Selected
? answered in tech Reply #1 – November 13, 2009, 08:11:46 PM It doesn't look like bolt and go. A MarkVII or 94-98 Sn-95 would have been a better choice. Quote Selected

5 lug axles turbo coupe rear brake ? Reply #5 – December 03, 2009, 12:09:42 AM Yes. Redrill the axles to 5-lug and open the center hole to match the larger hub on the SN-95 axles. Quote Selected
should have waited Reply #6 – December 15, 2009, 10:21:50 PM lol. the 17x9 cobra's se the strut during the "prefit" The lugs are pita and that's without any attempt to put the rear end and brakes on yet. It's raining like crazy and always seems like something to stop you Quote Selected

Always something Reply #8 – December 15, 2009, 10:47:58 PM Lol. the 17x9 cobra rims rub on the strut during the "test" fit and that's w/o the ft. brakes, springs and rear end yet! It's been raining like crazy and there will likely be more to get in the way of completing this project. Quote Selected
