Does anyone have a nice ashtray with wood face?  The tab on mine broke and now I can't close it (won't stay without the tab).  My LS has the woodgrain trim, but I think it's the same for both TBird & Cougar?  I wouldn't need the actual tray insert or cig lighter if they're not in it...so long as the face looks nice and tab is intact.

Also looking for blue seat belt (latch end) plastic covers.  Not sure if you can replace the cover itself, or just the whole assembly.  Am I better off going with something after-market for this?  Have seen a few posts about that.

Also, need underhood courtesy lamp and trunk lamp in good working condition.

Thanks for looking!

I have the wood grain ashtray cover plate, if thats what your asking about. Its like about 2 inches tall and like 6 inches long? I have an underhood light somewhere, that'll take some digging.

Well, yes, the cover plate is probably all I really need because it is all one piece and includes that tab needed for proper tray operation.  In looking at mine, I guess I didn't think it was removable/swappable?

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I'll keep you in mind.  Since I asked Haystack to look in a junk yard for me, I'll see what he found first...if nothing, I'll take you up on it.

Is it in nice shape?  Any pics?

Thanks!

It's in great shape, put a console in, so it had to go.

No, I am still looking for those (front PS & DS). Preferably blue, but not sure Mustangs had blue interior? Would also do black or some dark gray...
