Welp here i am

Hey all.  I just joined up here due to scoring a fairly rare (not valuable by a long shot) 1988 Cougar Flyers edition.  Hopefully the vast tech knowledge of these cars will get me through a redo of this car.

Ive played with theses cars in the past.  I always enjoyed my 88 XR7.  A bunch of friends and i have passed that car around kinda like a drunk chick on prom nite, lol.  The guy who has it now is making a street strip car outta it.

I basically just wanna focus on doing a amateur resto on this "new" 88.  I have enough fast , now its time to have something sedate.

Welcome another PA. boy. You may have to excuse a few here they don't know what a flyer is.
Old Grey Cat to this.88 Cat, 5.0 HO, CW mounts, mass air, CI custom cam, afr165's, Tmoss worked cobra intake, BBK shorty's,off road h pipe, magnaflow ex. T-5,spec stage 2 clutch, 8.8 373 TC trac loc, che ajustables with bullits on the rear. 11" brakes up front. +

i saw on at the local Braum's here in town.It was an emplyees.That was a few months ago and I haven't seen it since.

Funny thing is I actually dont like hockey all that much.  For some reason the Fugliness of the car really works for me

Not to be a jerk, but I'd pass that Flyer's Edition to your buddies and get that black cat back. lol. What's the scoop on the SN95 in the background?

Thats the wife's beater car.  1996 Deep Violet V6.  The kid who has the 88 XR7 now is doing alot with it.  We did a HO conversion, a 5spd conversion, stuffed in a stang 8.8 w/3.55's, the winter projects for that car are:  Mass air conversion, heads, cam, headers, intake, and he wants to throw a set of 3.90's in the back.
