Enlisted in the Armed Forces today October 09, 2009, 02:08:07 PM Got sick of searching for a job, and only finding shiznit pay ones when I do get them. Been talking about doing this for along time, and after me and the GF watched a few videos on the net about it lastnight, I decided to go for it again. So I went and enlisted in the Army today. gotta fill out the forms and drop them off tuesday. cant wait to get to Basic. I went through basic back in '00 but got out of it due to family issues at home. Missed it ever since. Quote Selected

On reserve right now, could ship out 6-12 months but until then he is set. If your a welder now , I would guess it would be a piece of cake to be a MAT Tech , I heard they pay a bonus if your already a journeymen. I got laid off from my heavy equipment job in may after 9 years. I did 3 years infantry back in they day. If i was younger i would probobly go back. Quote Selected
