Tbird/Coug arms are longer than Stang's...

As far as the torque boxes, I can't tell you, but Chuck or gumby would know for sure.

you have to do a little modding on the plates.
they are short, so I had to add an 1 1/2 to it and red-drill the hole.

the uppers, I had to rebend to make fit, and redrill 1 hole for that one.

X 2 on lowers being too short and the need to tweak the uppers.  I had to do a little grinding on the uppers as well as relocate one of the holes.

Damic: nice pics of the install.

LOL
Thank you.
I think I spend more time taking pics, then working on it. :hick:

I think it took about 10 hrs or so to get them modded and installed. A lot longer then I really expected.
should take less time going in knowing what needs to be done

LOL.  I was right there with you!  I couldn't believe how much time they sucked up!

I installed a set on my Mustang, it was pretty easy...

Have we seen the T-bird break out like the Mustang?  I did a continuous weld all around mine and for now it looks okay. I will have to keep an eye on it.

Thanks for the pictures.

you still need to lengthen the lower brackets, and drill a hole for the control arm bolt.

the idea of the bolting is to secure the inner plates to the outer, and sandwich the original floor and supports between them for strength. you can weld everything, but you still need the connection of the inside and outside for it to work properly, or you'll just rip the outer stuff off the car.
