Lol, I'm not a fan of the shift  neither, but I would like to have the shifter assembly.

That's a 390 or some other FE motor. Looks good other than the shifter though.

1988 Mustang GT - GT40 heads, Explorer intake, 70mm throttle body, 70mm MAF, Crane 1.7 rrs, E303 cam, Kirban Kwik shifter w/ Pro 5.0 deluxe handle, aluminum clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster, o/r h pipe, Dynomax lers, 3G alternator, aluminum radiator, and 3.27 gears.

that shifter looks like it would go in a truck with a bench seat...  or even some cars with a bench seat.. isnt that what those type shifters are designed for?  some stuff on that engine would look better on the firewall.. cool tho.

Another way to distinguish the engine difference is the water inlet, the oil pressure switch/sensor location, and I *think* FE's have round exhaust ports.
Been so long since I had the headers off of the 360 in my F-100, I can't really remember...

I was thinking the heads looked like sbf stuff...was gonna post and find out, but forgot about it lol.

It IS a  nice engine..what about the car it's going into?
