assymetrical wheel base September 18, 2009, 02:02:31 AM I did not know our cars were symmetrical wheel base although its prob day one auto mechanics. Took my car in for alignment and was told some cars pass front wheel sits back closer to the rear wheel as compared to the driver side. Maybe its visa versa but you get the point. Quote Selected
assymetrical wheel base Reply #1 – September 18, 2009, 03:01:56 AM News to me...I thought the distance between front and rear was typically the same, side to side.If not, wouldn't front swaybars not mount correctly..? Quote Selected
assymetrical wheel base Reply #2 – September 18, 2009, 04:17:18 AM only time i can think of adjusing the wheelbase from one side of the vehicle to the other side would be in circle track applications. and as far as sway bars. there is some flex in the link Quote Selected
