Keep it and build it.You have forever to get it done.If you look at the big picture all at once,it's overwhelming.You have to break it down and do a little at a time,as time and money allows.believe me,after two and a half years,I'm still working on it.....and happy.

Finally finished everything just in time for the local swap meet next week. I haven't seen this car together in so long, it is making it real hard to put it out for sale.

Here is my advice man. Why not stick a mild 5.0 in it. Drive it. Enjoy it. Make mustang guys jelous of you because you have something different. Who cares if it doesn't have 700 hp or runs 10's. You have a fox body t-bird with a rollcage and bad ass wheels. Thats already more than most of the people on this forum can claim. Save your pennies for this turbo motor or whatever and make it happen someday when time and money allow. It will be worth it.

Yep.Once it's gone,the money you get from it will be gone in no time,then you'll kick yourself over and over.You're not going to get life changing money from it,and if you decide,once it's gone,to build another car,you'll end up spending even more.Keep it,and relax.

I'd keep it and use it as a DD and park the mustang. Insurance is alot cheaper on a 20 year old car.

you guys might have forgot what he just bought... you put the tbird $$ into that stang motor and ut ooo... LOL what tbird? I forgot I was too busy blasting this stang around...

good luck with the sale Jim! I wish I could buy it from you, but it doesn't fit my situation right now... last year would have been perfect but too much has been done to my cougar to pull it all apart which would set me back years considering how much my pace had slowed down lol..

See my sig. I successfully own a '07 Mustang and a T-bird without wanting to sell off the 'bird. If I had to sell one it would be bye bye Mustang! Different strokes for different folks though.

Trust me, I would like to keep both. I just don't see it being the right thing to do. Everyone has different money standards. I don't think having a 600hp, caged 'bird and an 07 Saleen is going to happen. Don't forget...we have the wifes car and my dd truck. I have thought of just storing somewhere it until I decide, but around here that's $100/mo.

I just got an email from someone who seems interested. Going to call and see what he says.

I'd sell the Mustang,and keep the Bird. Too much time and money has went into the Bird. If it was me Iwould've never got the Stang. Ibet tya the monthly payments would have ya some mods onthe bird. I bet there isnt a car payment on the bird now is there? I wouldve never went and got something that I had to make payments and insurance .

I'd have a hard time selling the Bird myself. But you have to do what's best for yourself. I've struggled at times to keep mine and I'm glad I did, even if something would happen to it that I couldn't afford to fix, (other than it getting totaled), it would have to sit until I could. But that's me, like I said do what's best for you/your situation.

It's not all about the money. Yea, I have a "me too" car now, but they are nice. Very nice. Everything works, comfortable, 330hp(for now!), reliable, etc. I don't know. I have a master plan for the 'bird still and only have to make one phone call to have everything to finish it. We will see what happens.
