Its all comming along but im going to need a new front fender so i hope i can get my hands on one. I also need weatherstripping and dew wipes for both doors. i have actually owned this car for 3 years so im happy i finally get to tear into it. it has not been my daily driver but now i have enough space in the garage. 86 turbo coupe resto Reply #8 – August 31, 2009, 07:37:25 AM Nice boat! How much did you lower the 'bird?Looks good!Shiny Side Up!Bill Quote Selected
86 turbo coupe resto Reply #9 – August 31, 2009, 11:49:03 AM i didnt lower the bird i bought it like that. I think the shocks and struts are bad and the springs were cut so i have been looking at sn95 stuff. I also took off the ten holes and put on snowflakes because the front and rear tires are not the same size and i didnt like the look. as of that picture the only things i had done were take off the body kit, replace motor mounts (the old one broke and was chained and masterlocked down), and i got a 87 turbo hood from a friend in milwaukee.heres a pic of the soon to be done rear quarter and there is a new video in the photobucket account with the 3 inch exhaust. 86 turbo coupe resto Reply #14 – September 21, 2009, 02:33:32 PM I have never used hi-temp paint in an engine compartment and have never had a problem. Keep us posted on how everything goes. Maybe you'll find some parts at the big Jefferson Swap Meet this weekend. Great job so far!! Quote Selected
