Found this website about replacement hoodliners for $85 and ordered 1 for our Cougar and the fella is also a member of our forum (Tbirdmnd) friends. :D

And here I am, back after a little hiatus.

A big hello and thanks to Dan for posting the link to my blogspot page for my liners. Yours will be coming soon, just need to get the 2 decals in from my supplier.

I do remember Mark and his 86 TBird, but I never heard back from him after I made him the liner. I'd like to see pics of the engine bay now!

Gonzo,

The install went fine.  I took your advice and pulled the hood, used the recommened 3M spray on glue and had a friend help me with the install (two people made it much easier, one to hold it up while the other worked it into place.  Once it hit the glue there was no moving it).  It's been on there for two years.  It's a great product and is holding up well.  Getting a flattering pic of the underside of the hood isn't as easy as I expected...  The Thunderbird decal is a nice feature.  I am often asked how I got that on there!

Looks great.Do you just open the hood and sit and stare at it now?LOL.I think I will get one for the Sport.....after I tint the windows,install the a/c,re-cover the front and rear seats,and finish the trunk.
