head lights?

is there ANY way to have some sort of chrome or reflective mirror finish put on the inside of my head light clusters.  I had some wild birds take out all three lights on the right side of my '87 xr7...and after 2 years, found replacements on ebay...BUT, the finish on the inside of the lights is so old and worn that my lights are nasty dim.

is their any way to re-finish the inside of my head lamps to be SHINEY again?

the only thing that I can think of to do would be thinning down some chrome fingernail polish and letting it run around the inside of the back of the housing. be careful not to get it on the lense.

I've Just used Duplicolors Chrome Spray bomb paint looks really good. Works good inside the outside lights and Spray the reflector part of your cluster. When I sprayed the internals of my 84 Seemed to help the brightness a lot! You could also use the Bare metal foil like in models. Think it would work good for places that never get touched!

That or polished aluminum tape. I had decent results with that years ago. part of a $5 roll was worth a try in my opinion. With clear lenses, I could actually see the road again but NEW lights gave me about double the light output. 14.5v at the bulb, new headlights, and new bulbs, the output still sucked though.
