more leg room

the boy is now 6'5"  340 lbs and still growing (16 year old) pulled the power seat out of the car. split the seat frame from the power unit. took some 3" by 3/8" bar stock and welded in to the lower unit. right over the seat mounting holes. the bar stock is about 5" longer than the seat frame, the extra is to the rear of the car. I measured the seat mounting holes and redrilled the bar stock 4 inches rear ward. bolted  the seat back together and installed. the seat now powers back to within 1 inch of the rear seat.  :rollin: full forward my 5'6" wife can still drive the car and my son nows has plenty of leg room

I'm 6'9" and I have found these cars have more legroom than about anything I've found.  Never thought about doing that for more room.  Maybe I'll think about doing that this summer.
