I've driven this car and it is THE most solid and responsive fox car I have ever driven.  It handled better than any of my cars with 15" or 16" rims and that was when it was rollin' on fo-teen inch steel dubs!  The exhaust, all custom fabricated, sings a beautiful tune when you kick the skinny pedal down (it inspired me to do my t-bird much later).  And... BONUS, um, power moonroof!  The interior is every bit as good as it looks and the seats are comfy and supportive. Also, as Eric says, the brakes are fantastic, I could've sworn the pedal should go down further, but it must be the big drums out back that help.  I dunno what else to say really, Eric has it all covered on the site.  I just thought I'd add a second opinion (as if the E-man's word isn't good enough).

Well, I own 4 cars at this point. I need to sell 2 of them....the light blue V6 Blue Max will be next. Once those 2 are gone, I'm down to the convertible and the V8 Blue Max. For the summer at least, I'll be driving the Max every day while hunting for something else. Pretty much know what I want, just have to find it. Once I get it, you'll know. :)

What a shame to see all that rust.  Ohio is not kind to its cars.

Well, at CJ03 I drove the 'Bird to the hotel Sunday morning, and Crystal came over to see it. I was talking to her about how much rust there was, especially on the driver's side behind the wheel. It was at the point where the paint alone was keeping a hole from starting. And then she started pokin' at it with her little girl hands.

Thus the custom Speed Hole by Crystal™.

I'm never gonna live that one down... If I lived closer, I was gonna sneak over and weld it up when nobody was looking, but a 10 hour drive is a bit much just to confuse somebody...

True...I'm cornfused enough as it is. :hick:

Eh, not like that wasn't going to happen eventually Crystal. I really don't put the fault on you. It's just one of those great stories to build upon the legend of the Sport. ;)

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Oh, big time bump...

Still got it, still need to get rid of it. Come on, folks...HO motor, custom 2.5" exhaust with a custom X-pipe (don't even need to remove it to drop the trans!), great brakes, fully loaded...yeah it's rusty, so what! Makes a good daily driver.

Dropped to $900. Worth way more than that in parts alone. Please rescue this 'Birdie from my driveway. :)
