1. He said he wasn't talking to you. Perhaps the "sleazy" he refers to is the seller.
2. Who made you the person who decides who can post where? No threats, vulgarity/porn, or insults were made. Because you feel an insult was implied does not mean it was. Besides, there are other posts in the thread that serve as "just shooting the breeze"

he was obviously talking to me when post 12 was created.

After reading post 11, and still having the lack of manners to post that "it""all""sounds""sleezy" is pointing to me.

saying what he did after i ran through the order of events points to me. Im not stupid,

you would think that after reading post 11, his post would have more along the "oh,, ok well how much did you get em for,, or "oh,,, i was wondering what happend to the auction, glad to see them go to someone here and not the trash".

nope,, even after i explained,,,,,,,,my explaination sounded sleezy.

I have a spare mostly empty and one complete in my trunk i recently got and this one coming. (3 total)

The bag on the matt deal became sort of a package deal or nothing so its coming.
make an offer........on any one of the three. All the 20th owners should have one.

If your answer is "i didnt", then its just a distractor with some odd purpose to make the reader think i misunderstood something prior (banking on the odds the reader wont look back to check).

Look man, there was no reason other than choice for you to post those comments even after i explained things. I didnt bid because of the "buy it now" price. I dont know much about ebay and i can only assume that if I dont pay the buy it now , the seller wont sell. Why bother bidding.

That's how 90% of eBay works, Scott. What exactly is wrong with it? When a seller's opening bid is disproportionately high, no bids should give him/her the message. Yanking the auction due to no bidding--especially with just a day or less left--reeks of crybaby.

Yep Eric, and as with any auction I bid on, if nobody bids until the day before the auction ends, I will put a bid in to at least get the process started. Only if someone else starts the bidding before this will I bid earlier than the day before. It was only then that I noticed that the auction had ended early. I came back here and expressed my disappointment that the auction ended early. Since I knew that at least one person had expressed interest in the parts (and that he would at least know another was "watching" the items), I made the assumption that someone had sniped the parts on the side.

Not only was my assumption correct, but the person that sniped them was none other than Scott - and now he's trying to turn the tables on me for being justifiably annoyed that he did this deal on the side (and yes, the word "sleazy" applies here, though I'm trying my best to remain civil.)

So after V8 demon jumped in and tried to stick up for you because you said you were not talking to me,,, you have shown that you were talking to me after all.

YOU lied to me and everyone on here.

Not only did you draw someones support in this but that person pointed out my being paranoid and having a problem.

,,,,,,,so for the record and I am surprised that I have no one supporting me on this.

Ask yourself who stopped the auction and why.

I did not stop the auction
I did not know the auction had been stopped until early morning friday (i think)
I did not bid
I did contact the seller about the parts via ebay message system
I did leave my call back number
I did make contact with the seller
I did talk to the seller
I did tell the seller that the qty of 20th owners are prob the only ones who will look at this based on the price.
I did tell the seller the price was out of my range
I did tell the seller that I wont bid because of the buy it now
I did tell the seller to get back to me after the auction if he cant unload the parts
I did not tell the seller to take down the auction
I did tell the seller to look in his storage for the other items we talked about
I did pm eric friday AM 12june asking if he bought stuff and he replied
I did pm zonda on this and a few other things
I did tell only ZONDA that i did get the parts during some pm mid day friday 12june.
I did get a pm back from eric saying he did not buy anything on 12june
I did get a pm from zonda asking me what was going on with this.
I did recieve a call from the seller apporx 11am 12june making me an offer
I did tell the seller that we were all wondering what happened to the auction
The seller made me an offer out of nowhere so i secured the deal.

HOW is is possibe for me to have prevented this? Riddle me that batman?
What i do know is that i was never going to own a set of 20th mats ever.,, turned out to be wrong.

the only dishonesty i see here is you Cougar5.0. You have proven what i said all along. I dont really care about the whole mat thing now, its the conduct you seem to think i have conducted. Your totally wrong about it , i swear to god i did not do what you said. I wish you knew me better, i dont cheat at cards.

to be honest, i dont know what prompted me to pm eric asking him if he bought stuff. I think friday am i logged in and got a pm from zonda asking me what the deal was with the auction. either that or i logged on and saw this thread were someone asked who the lucky sob was.

either way, this thread went south.

Going back and reading, this was posted on June 10th. I had no idea what you meant, but it sounds like you were working on a side deal for the mats.
