Your car came equipped with drums, yes? In that case, I completely agree with you. I would, if I were you, keep all of the TC disc stuff in a well marked box to be used at a later date if so desired.

Good find, and quite a deal!

Shiny Side Up!
Bill

It came with drums anyway.I'll sell all of the disc stuff to help fund other projects for the Sport.rear discs aren't anything I need any time soon.As I said, the stock brakes are doing fine.

Made another un-planned trip over to the 'yard.

Grabbed the Master Cylinder (Dunno if i can even use it) and Prop Valve from a '94>Up GT 'Stang.
Also grabbed the Lower control arms so i could get the Ball Joints free, lol.
Grabbed the springs while i was at it.

And i grabbed the front stabilizer bar and mounts thinking i read somewhere it was beefier than the fox bar... But I'm unsure of this now.

Also looked through the ENTIRE yard for a 17" rim or 2 for temporary use on the front for a cobra brake swap and found NONE.
So i put up a wanted ad for 17's, And today i just got a reply that has me giddy!
Seller says they have "2 cragars w/ tires for $50" and only included this picture:

Waiting very impatiently for return e-mail with more info and maybe pictures. :rollin:

Great deal vinnie!, Mine costed like $80 at pull-a-part without brakes and stuff

It HAS to be a good deal,or I won't even look at it.I've made it very clear that my funds for the Sport are extremely limited, and do not come from the pay check,so,i've learned to be patient and have a very keen pair of eyes when it comes to finding parts I need.

You did great on that trade, I had to trade a '95 Cobra long block to get that deal except mine has a Pro-5.0 shifter lol.

Trip to the u-pull-it was good today. Found an 87 Tbird in with the Chrysler products. Pulled a crystal clear passenger side headlight, and a nice drivers side tailight. The drivers side headlight had moisture in it, but the lense was also crystal clear. Not really sure why I left it there now?
Also pulled to green lense tripminders out of a pair of four-eyed tbirds.
Pulled a pair of PBR calipers from a 99 stang, only to find one of the pistons was stuck, so they stayed there also.
Not a bad day really. Considering going back for that drivers side headlight now though.

Go get the other light, pull the bulb, let it air dry, seal around the lens seam, and call it a day.

I was afraid someone would say that. It's an hour drive, but it was a factory Ford lense. And when I say crystal clear, I mean clearer than any of the ones I've seen in a very long time. The drivers side headlight bucket looked to have some scars on the plating inside. But maybe it was just the moisture?

Did the 'stang still have spindles?
If so it might be worth the drive just grab those and resell them.

Possible good news on the wheel hunt~
After tons of back and forth e-mails of me trying to photo identify the rims this guy is selling (His camera is broke or lost or something) i finally found them:

Eagle Alloys Series 165
w/ Tires all 4 for $80!

Apparently he has them on an aerostar, which is getting repoed. :rollin:

I've already got a full set of spindles/hubs/rotors/calipers/brackets/lines/abs sensors from a 96 that I tried to sell once and no one wanted.  Seems everybody wants the 94/95 variety.  I've sort of decided to keep the entire setup for my TC.
I just really wish that piston hadn't been stuck on those PBR's.

Woohoo
Trying to get dad to drive me over and pick up the above rims tomorrow.

Apparently 3 of them have new tires even.
Just gonna cost $80 plus 4 random wheels/donuts (JY) to replace them on the "repo" car.

Yesssssssss!
Turned out to be very labor intensive, But i got my rims!

I had to pick up a couple spares at the JY before we went over, But wasnt expecting the rims to be completely bolted up to the vehicle.

Good thing the guy had a jack, 'Cuz i didnt bring one...

So after jacking up and pulling off the first wheel, I go to put on one of the spares i brought~Wrong pattern! :toilet:
It was a Windstar, Guy kept calling it an Aerostar.

Dude lives out in the boonies, Has no drill or tools, And junkyard is as close as going home.

So we found a hardware store around the block, And grabbed the biggest file i could find. :mullet:

Filed down all the holes on the 3 spares i brought, Amd he had a spare mounted up underneath still.

And then i slapped those suckers on. :D

Gave him $80 and came home tired but super excited with my purchase:
17x9 Eagle Alloys, No bends, Next to no curb rash.
2 of them have BRAND NEW Pirelli PZERO Nero Tires.

Lug pattern apparently is not 5x4.5, So i need to look into hubs, Or machining these or something~But no doubt these are going on the bird, Love em!.
