latest little project...

well, i was going to use Carmens wheel restoration guide, went and bought that "Textured Metallic" paint by duplicolor, since its durable finish

so i go at the wheels with the paint remover wheel pad "thingy", and it took me 20 minutes or so to even get to the factory clearcoat, on a 3"x3" sections, so black the wheels stay

i kinda like the look, ill have better pics when the car is clean, and i should have new tires on it very shortly
It's Gumby's fault.

maybe if you were to paint rims silver and then black out the inside... maybe not. If you got white walls the would look tight

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

that was the intention, so the recessed areas would be black, but the paint wasnt having it, didnt go as planned

i like em black for the time being, i can always change em later

but with the way the car runs, i think it would be more appropriate to call it "Bitter Max"
