Re: 87' cougar...help Reply #1 – April 05, 2005, 02:27:19 PM No you're not....no 87 Turbo Cougars unless it was a swap......You didn't give us enough info either to help decide if it's a good deal or not.If it's complete, fair body, runs ok, then yeah $900 is probably good, but it's not a turbo Cougar from the factory. Re: 87' cougar...help Reply #4 – April 05, 2005, 05:25:39 PM Either that or the seller doesn't know the difference between an '86 and an '87. Quote Selected
Re: 87' cougar...help Reply #5 – April 05, 2005, 06:03:43 PM If it turns out to be an 86, maybe it was a misprint. Have you talked to this guy or seen the car yet? Quote Selected

Re: 87' cougar...help Reply #9 – April 07, 2005, 07:59:04 PM Or maybe they put a 87-88 front clip on an 83-86 XR7. That would confuse lots of people who don't know these cars. Quote Selected
Re: 87' cougar...help Reply #10 – April 07, 2005, 08:09:19 PM I'm sure it's probably just an '86. People (the seller of the car, in this instance) can never get the years right on these cars. Quote Selected
Re: 87' cougar...help Reply #12 – April 14, 2005, 12:31:55 PM Maybe its a canadian or mexican car where they like to use leftover parts from prevoius years Quote Selected
