WANTED 87-88 TC ECU and VAF

ok, this may be a little too late, but looking for parts in your instance is better than looking for a complete and running and otherwise drivable TC that you'd just part out.
I'm NOT ragging on you here, just giving some heads up.
Have you tried ebay? craigslist? turboford.net?
local junkyards?
I'll explain what TC's mean to most of us here:
To us, they're the Mustang Cobra....the pinnacle of our hobby.
I know that not every car can be saved....but when the ones that are worth saving are few and far between, even yours, that you say is pretty rough, well, to us...it's easily fixable/restorable/what-have you.
So yeah, we're gonna get testy about it. Believe me, I caught flak for parting out a rusty, wrecked '88 TC that didn't even have a shaging title, and several people here called me on it
But at least most of the parts went to other cars and lived on. So yeah, in your defense I see your side as well. It's just that decent TC's of ANY year, especially the 4-eyes, are getting ever more scarce. Plenty of parts online for sale without stripping down a running one.
Like I said, I'm not busting on you here, and I think the time has come for some people to realize that if you don't have a thing nice to say then maybe you should shut the shag up and leave well enough alone???
Personally, If I still had the LA3 and a VAM (not vaf, lol, there is no such thing
) I'd sell it to him because the car that it came off of is long long gone to Thunderbird heaven, and it'd save him from parting a good car.
But now I guess because he's pissed in everyone's
wheaties and he can't find used parts, he WILL buy a running TC to supply what he needs. Nice bit of irony, there ain't it..?
Oh well, I've said my piece, now be done with it.
