Dude that looks incredibly solid....nothing like a rust-free body. Shooting paint is one thing...panel work = :punchballs:. Nice find. And no, these are mustang ten-hole wheels my dad bought when the car was his, I threw them on becuase they were sitting in the shed and have almost new tires and my old ones were beyond spent.

Your seats look nice, and your passenger side seatbelt reciever plastic cover is MINT!!! Im soooo jealous :hick: as are many others probably. Pretty common problem with these cars.
1987 20th Anniversary Cougar, 302 "5.0" GT-40 heads (F3ZE '93 Cobra) and TMoss Ported H.O. intake, H.O. camshaft
2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...

1988 Black XR7 Procharger P600B intercooled, Edelbrock Performer non-RPM heads, GT40 intake AOD, 13 PSI @5000 RPM. 93 octane

ok so i got the exhaust on now and wow! i can hear again. Gonna pull the plugs clean and gap them and then put a timing light on her and see what we are looking at , still think the gas is a problem till i get through the first tank of  gas. Does anyone out there know if i can put a mustang exhaust on the cougar or can you suggest a nice dual exhaust on my ls? Also its going to need new shocks and struts so i thought about lowing it a bit so any suggestions would be helpfull. thanks all.:rollin:

You can use an exhaust for a fox mustang, the only problem is the tail pipes are too short. I have 2 1/2" pipes all the way back, using an off-road x-pipe and flowmasters. I love the way it sounds!! Stay away from lowering springs for a mustang. I had a set of ford motorsport springs and it was way to low, plus it rode terrible! I was lucky and found a set on ebay for it, it's only about an inch lower than stock but I like it, plus the ride came back. You can check out my mod list on my cardomain site. I've done quite a bit to it over the years.

i cant find the code to the door.

It should be on the passenger side trunk hinge... If not there, it'll be on the keyless control module... The module is on the driver side drop panel under the package tray...

Nice find...
