9 inch rear disc

I'm working on 72 cougar xr7 I would like to put a 9inch with disc brakes on a pooor mans budget. Looking at robbing from a donor if i find out what to use. please help.

how about the old marks? i know for a fact that 78 and 78 had 9" with disks. pretty sure all of the later mark's did and continentals

Lincoln Versailles or something like that had a 9" with rear discs too - they're quite popular with the hot rodding guys
