Anybody else sick of...

...people using the word "cougar" to describe randy old women?

Makes me mad, heh.

nope, i love them and will use the word freely!

1988 Mustang GT - GT40 heads, Explorer intake, 70mm throttle body, 70mm MAF, Crane 1.7 rrs, E303 cam, Kirban Kwik shifter w/ Pro 5.0 deluxe handle, aluminum clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster, o/r h pipe, Dynomax lers, 3G alternator, aluminum radiator, and 3.27 gears.

Freakin' right and Id definitely like one.

2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...

Ok, so maybe it's because I am a woman..but yes, I am tired of it.
Every time I say the word, I feel like people think I'm a lesbian! LOL

And God forbid you try to find anything on the internet having to do with Cougars without putting in specifically "Mercury" or "mountain lions". You never know what you'll get.

I have two Cougars and a cougar and enjoy them all. :)

I know what you mean about the word but now that it's mainstream, I think everyone's smart enough to know the difference between a discontinued car model and a woman out to find a younger man. If they don't know the difference, guess they'll have to figure it out for themselves...

What exactly is the minimum age difference that defines someone as a "Cougar"

Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D
