Truck intake huh... Any real reason why you didnt swap? Looks like you have had some progress on it. Trust me I doubt you would bore any of us with your projects.

Original color an avocado green? Sure you dont want to paint it back to that?

So this is how its sits now awaiting final paint and a good detail.Ive pt about 600 miles on it since i got it back running it's my idea of a perfect "driver car"I actually put this car together to replace my cavalier daily driver but it is turning out a little nicer then what i first planned.

yeah the truck intake flows better then a car version plus i was told it would never work,And since the motor is very close to stock I tried to use all the "stock" speed tricks.Other then a set of long tube headers and exhaust it is a stock H.O motor with a stock aod backing it up.

Why wouldnt it work? Space? Nothing a sawzall cant fix there. It makes sense since the intake isnt smashed flat. How does it flow in comparison to and Explorer intake?

I was just kidding about the green. Im not a big fan either, dont like yellows either but that one looks nice. I think because of the darker shade and shape of the car
