grilleless bird

i have had 3 people say they like the way the Bird looks without a grille in it ever since i took it out to paint it...i have to say it's not to terribly bad looking, could use some cleaning up around the edges were the grille attaches to the bumper though..

i will get a pic in a minute

anyone seen one like this?

Take you current grille, cut out the center grate and install a floating bird symbol in the center.
Should look pretty good.

I drove my 88 bird like this, but then again, The part above it broke off too.  The hood latch and stuff kinda becomes an eyesore after a while, IMO.

you might have to do something with the hood latch and the brace that runs down the center behind the grill. idk how good that would look all exposed.
