302 cougar owners Reply #5 – April 12, 2009, 11:11:12 AM Yeah thats the one. I like it on the older ones but not on the new ones. They have the newer Cougar head logo going on all over and those logos just don't fit in my mind. Eric had said it before people who draw alot seem to have their own vision I know what looks good to ME but that doesn't nessesarily look good to anyone else. So just know, I'm not critisizing (Wow I cannot spell today). Quote Selected
302 cougar owners Reply #6 – April 12, 2009, 03:37:12 PM dont try to use these with the 86 up 5.0's they wont fit because of the oil fill tube. I have an original set and was doing some test fits on my new 5.0. the oil tube comes in contact with the upper intake but I am sure something could be done with them to make them usable. 302 cougar owners Reply #8 – April 12, 2009, 11:21:37 PM I'm not thinking a spacer would be enough due to the fact that these valve covers use the push on type oil cap. Quote Selected
