Baby got new shoes!

Got a smokin deal on these. Probably because the rear tires are so large. I actually think I am going to get a shorter tire, if for no other reason than to have the speedo work correctly and see further than 50 ft with the low beams.

What do you think?

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I've always liked the draglites, that actually looks like a good height tire for the strip to help with launch. Looks good

275/60/15. They are 28 inches tall. I am going to go with a 265/50/15 that is the same tread width, but 25.4 inches tall.

Never really like those rims either. Escpecially the front skinnies.  I still kinda like the rear rims cause of the deep dish effect.  Thats my opinion tho.

Nice! Motormenace from NATO (and this board I think) hooked my Cougar up with a set of those not too long ago. These types of wheels are my personal favorites on these cars, and are a breeze to clean!  :grinno:  The only drawback I can say is really fat rear tires, since they cause the back end to feel a little less stable during hard turning.
