misalignment ?

I was noticed that my car has one front wheel with different alingment, looks like....

(It´s an ugly drawing but i guess that it has the point)

And since i have the Contour wheels with positive Ofset, that wheel are sanding? the shock and destroying itself,too....

Time to rotate the wheels ?

Sorry for my english, its hard to describe some situations....

If you do not get the alignment fixed, you will end up replacing those tires. Tire rotation is not going to help. Is the steering wheel off-center while driving? Not to mention if the wheels are rubbing against the suspension, then you need to change those wheels fast before they destroy your car.

Well, i have used those wheels for at least two years without problems, but now the front left wheel are rubbing with the shock. The steering wheel are OK when driving, but since i have these wheels im suffering of very poor cornering. I want to change the wheels, but i dont have the money to buy a newer ones. I have a pair of 15´s at my old house for a Fox car. Maybe ill give a try...

Since you put it that way, then I am thinking that you have a bad ball joint or the strut upper mount is plain worn out causing the tire to lean inward.

Well, i put a "14 wheel on that side and had the same effect. How i can fix that problem ? What things i need to evaluate ?

Ball Joints!!  If its bad enough to rub the strut, likey the upper and lower are shot.  Up here they are not very expensive (about $30 each for parts).

To check the ball joints, jack up the front end and have an assistant wiggle the tire (with some force) while you watch the joints for movement.  Top to bottom movement is the ball joints, side to side movement (if severe) is the tie rods.  If there is play in all directions the wheel bearing is shot.

How the heck did that happen??  Those special high-strength bolts/nuts are supposed to be put on with 180lb/ft of torque.
