I wonder if the toupee on the owner's head looks any better than the toupee on that car?

It's like an Italian insult to anyone willing to drive it in the rain. Take one of the most beautiful Roadsters on the planet, and give it a 'soft-top' that you wouldn't be caught dead with in place. They made it so ugly it's no doubt a better deterrent for driving it in the wet than water spots and risk of a fender-bender.

wow with such great designers, you'd think they could design a better looking removable top.

It looks expensive. It looks like a European sports car. Expensive + sports car does not mean it looks good. Its ugly as hell, at least to me. Some people see an expensive car and say its nice because its expensive (not trying to imply this thinking on you, Oldraven). I just think it's plain 'ol ugly.

I played with a "Hot Wheels" Lamborghini Countach when I was a kid in the '70s. This is one of the most famous supercars in the world and was produced for 16 years from 1974 - 1990. Perhaps all Lamborghini's aren't memorable, but as a car enthusiast, I appreciate the history of this brand as I do with any sports car.

i like ferrari's designs more than lambo too.  but i gotta say.  ENZO or F50.. the F40 is more a road car than a F1 car.. unlike the 2 i named.

i saw a top gear show where richard hammond was driving that exact model around in spain.  he couldnt read italian, and couldnt speak spanish.  the directions to get the top up and down is in italian and the spaniards couldnt help him.  it took him an hour untill he gave up and drove it with it up halfassed.  not only did they not design a good looking soft top, but they over engineered the thing. on my miata, just pop 2 latches at the top of the A pillars and it basically falls back.  it can be done at a redlight.

the lambo is still a good looking car tho.  the big bird catchers all over the car serve a function.  V12 if im not mistaken.  the stock rims would have to go though.  they look like they should be on the W12 powered VW GTIR or whatever.. oh wait.. they were. god they're ugly!

cougar5.0 has the best picture in this thread aside from the one with the bird in it.

Are you serious? The F40 is more of a race car than the Enzo or the F50. No radio, no A/C, no ABS, no Traction control or stability control the thing doesn't even have door handles like you and I know just a little pull cord like race cars have. Zero creature comforts. Honestly I think since that is the last car Enzo had a part in its more Enzo than the Enzo itself. I like all vehicles!
