'95 Lincoln Concept Car... at a dealership? Reply #2 – March 11, 2009, 08:32:12 PM Of course it doesn't drive; the pictures alone prove that. That wasn't my point. It was my understanding that Ford (and the other big manufacturers) keep their concepts away from the general public unless they're showing them off to promote future projects. This is assuming that they don't destroy them immediately after the unveiling. Quote Selected
'95 Lincoln Concept Car... at a dealership? Reply #3 – March 11, 2009, 08:35:19 PM doesnt look like a factory built concept ford can do better than that. the car is made of plywood and erector set. Quote Selected

'95 Lincoln Concept Car... at a dealership? Reply #6 – March 11, 2009, 09:07:57 PM That is indeed a real concept (I remember it). My guess would be that it was sold in the charity sale of a bunch of concept Fords a while ago (the '92 Mustang Mach 3 was also sold in that auction). That'd be a cool body to drop onto a Town Car frame. It'd require some serious work, of course (such as making real doors for it) but it'd make a cool car. Not at $100k though...*EDIT* Here's a link to an article about the auction:http://www.popularmechanics.com/automotive/new_cars/1268001.html Quote Selected

'95 Lincoln Concept Car... at a dealership? Reply #10 – March 11, 2009, 10:35:48 PM Given that it didn't make the top ten money wise in the Ford auction I cited, and that the bottom of the top ten sold for less than $70k, I'd say he'd do well very well to get $100k. That's a lot of scratch for a fancy bit of foam and plywood. Quote Selected
