What a waste of a Cougar.
Why couldn't they use something else, like a Hyundai, or a Toyota, or even a.... Mustang?

I'd pimp one as well (I do have a history of liking things that are so ugly they're cool, which is why I own a bullmastiff), but if I ever had one I'd have to cut everything off aft of the quarter windows and do it over again properly. Those Tiffany cars just look unfinished in the rear.

I wonder what it would take to make it into a real car again. 31,000 MILES...

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

You know, I think that would be a good candidate for a full COUGAR resto if someone had enough time. You are right though when was the last time you saw a Cougar get that kind of money? After looking again it appears the front frame was stretched quite a bit I bet that would be a tough resto.
