88 Thunderbird Sport 331 stoker 6 speed Reply #4 – February 11, 2009, 07:45:04 PM QuoteThe engine was built for a supercharger, I had planned on 14lb of boost. The shortblock is a DSS Racing 331, Stage 10 Pro Bullet shortblock, 9-1 compression ratio. The engine was completed with: Ford Racing "E" cam, Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads and intake, Crane roller rockers, hardend pushrods, and BBK 70mm throttle body/EGR spacer. It dyno'd at 260 rear wheel horsepower with all emmission equipment installed. Assuming 15% reduction for the 6-speed and cats,, the engine is easily a 300+ HP as-is.Anybody else see anything wrong? Must be a real conservative tune. Quote Selected
