Custom lock up may be your only choice for a 4000 lockup stall. I'd call Edge converters, Performance Industries or Dirty Dog but they might want you to go non-lock.
Iirc the TCI lockup converter in my car was sold as a 3000+ converter. My engine is pitiful and it wont stall high, your engine will stall way higher. Some of the transmission guys say don't buy the spaceship style converter because it is 2 converters welded together and wont hold up. Imho it is way better than stock though :evilgrin: but if it does come apart, rebuilding the converter will seem small compared to the transmission. (converter pn 433100?)
It's good to change the direct drive input lockup shaft to a special hardened steel type so it won't break as easy. I got one from Baumann which may or may not be as good as the one from Summit.
