are super 44's better?

went to autozone today for a new power steering cap. and noticed they had some flowmaster super 44's for $80.00

was wondering if anyone had this or might know if this may sound better and be much louder than the cherry bomb.

Do you have to break in new lers?  I've heard some people say lers must be broken in before they sound the way they should.

was wondering if this is true and if the cherry bomb will begin to get louder over time as i break it in.

thanks.

they will get louder when you blow the glass out of the cherrybombs.

i like the throaty sound flowmaster 40's give my bird. it'll sound even better when theres a cam in it and about 300 more hp :D

oh yeah and tailpipes! lol

44's flow a bit better but on a stock 5.0 you need some backpressure so that thing had enough umph to get out of its own way lol

here is what I found on flowmasters website.  http://www.flowmasterlers.com/44_super.html

I personally like the super 40 but I am going for the muscle car sound on my 79.
