im not scared of heights much, but seein that guy under that truck like that makes my skin crawl.  and those forklift guys?  they need to be fired and should never operate a forklift ever again.  did they ever think about sheering fork bolts, lettin it all fall down like a house of cards that includes 2 or 3 6000lb batteries?

About 3 years ago a coworker showed me the death picture of a truck mechanic.  The victim was a big guy in his 30s.  He had hoisted the tractor end of a semi truck with a couple of chain hoists in violation of shop rules (use floor hoists) for repair work.  He was sitting in exactly the same position this dude is in.  The chain links elongated and broke without warning.  When the guy's upper body folded to the floor like you fold a towel, the violent impact split the seam of his pants from the crouch to the waistline.  He had a family.  Death was instantaneous.
