For the first time in 3.5 years...

I don't own a Turbo Coupe!!

I feel like something's missing...  But hopefully that void is filled when I go look at a '96 Cobra on Saturday!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me out over the years, they've flown by.  I'm sure I'll be in a TC again eventually, and I'm sure I'll still be on this Forum plenty.

On my Blackberry it looked like 35 years! It didn't occur to me that that would be impossible - at least for a Fox body. I just realized that I've been driving a Fox Cougar for 20 years!

Can you believe that? I've been driving a Fox Cougar since before some here were born!

You'll have to change your ID to tc-1 :rollin:

Um, did you know that isn't a Fox? JK. Good luck and post pics if you get it, even if it isn't a Fox!

Will do.  My insurance agent is calling me tomorrow with a quote which will be ridiculously high, but as long as it's not insanely high, I'll own my dream car by Sunday.

lmao!  You are commendable, sir.

By the way, how do you like your Kenne Bell?  My original plan was a '94-'95 GT + said SC.  Your sig makes it look kinda fast ;) .

Well I am included in that statement, I'm only 18.  Thats not your first Fox cougar then is it?

Nope, I had an '83 that I picked up as a DD in '89. That car was a nice comfortable & reliable ride back when a reliable American car was hard to find!

How's that tranny crossmember workin' out for ya?

I just happen to have some dyno data from a '96 Cobra with a Kenne Bell on it that I got from some folks on the Corral.

Ahh, here it is - they were comparing a Procharger to a Kenne Bell on a '96 Cobra - both running 8 psi.

Nice torque curve on the KB huh?

No kidding!

Well it will take me longer to get to a SC if I buy a Cobra, but it will be worth it.

Sometimes I think I won't sell my T-bird so I can stay on this board. ;)

Sharp car!

I'll definitely look into it, pending tomorrow.

My insurance agent called me with a quote today, and liability for one year is $50 less than it was for my Turbo Coupe.  I was expecting it to be $1500!  IT'S $414!!!  I'M 18!!!  So pending is the fact that it is a real Cobra, although I've run the VIN and gave my insurance company the VIN, and both came back as Cobra all the way.

I'll be leaving at 8am and coming home with 305hp if it doesn't sell in the next 50 minutes!
