The Toys R Us shooting was in California...

While I'm not gonna vilify those that live in Cali, OR NY, or region-wise,("the NE")..it DOES seem that more violence happens in those areas...why...more people.

But sweet god, a TOY store????
shiznit fire and save blowtorches, am I gonna have to take the .303 with me when I go to town to buy diapers!?

what in the blue fvck is wrong with people!?

Those morons who didn't help that wal mart employee should ALL be charged with accessory to murder, if not manslaughter.

If that happened to anyone in my family...their gravestone would read: here lies _ _ _ _ _ _, killed by a greedy fvcker with more money than brain cells. RIP Innocent bystanders.

I call for an immediate ban of ALL post-holiday, tax/duty-free sales from ANY/ALL stores.

Those of you who want to argue about this, just shut up for a minute and put yourself in the next-of-kin's shoes when you just found out your relation was smashed by a crowd of dumbass morons who have to get that Nintendo DS at 1/2 off before anyone else!
Let alone the obviously mentally challenged dipshiznits who shot each other (and thank god not some child) because their women had an argument.

But let's place another gun ban, instead of skirting the REAL problem.

I'll probably come back edit this later after I've calmed down...but it still  me off that most can't accept blame and be human beings. chickenshiznits...may the flames of hell burn high for those who ignored that woman who was crushed...:flame:

No need to edit.

Not sure how many of you have ever been on the other side of things but it is just as insane and dumb. I work at American, we are very organized and orderly about it though. We have lines ribboned off for certain items. Makes it a little more "fair" for those who wait forever. Most of our stock is not stocked on the floor. We are really big on customer to employee contact. So a sales person will take the first person in their line into the department, figure out exactly what they would like, check the paper, then send them to the computer that another sales person is keying sales on. That is how it worked yesterday. Got it at 4, worked keying sales/selling until 930, then Customer Assistance until 3ish when i took a little lunch (catered, really nice) Got off at almost 7. Then they needed a TV delivered and asked me if I could so I figured I would, hell whats another hour. I was finally done with working at 845. So almost 16 hours later and 37 1/2 hours since I woke up from my last 5 hours of sleep I was off. Didnt make it home and asleep til 130. I love being young.

Went smoothly for the most part. Only one customer got physical. He tried to grab a Wii game out of a managers hand as he was unlocking it and taking it out of its display box. It was sold already, and there was no way for him to buy it as this was the last one in the system. So h e started yelling and wanted the manager and Aaron tells him he is the manager and throws him out.

Other than that. I was -$80 in my drawer. Not good. Sold over 5g's that came back fraud. I had an error code on the card so I called in on it as my manager told me to and  I was told to have the customer call the card company for more information. She "called" and talked the "them" on the phone. Well I got a manual approval from "them" and entered that into the system. It took it and I sent them off.

I go in today to fill out some paper work on a delivery I did after I got off Friday and they tell me it was fraud. The ID matched, I called, and I got approval #s. Well come to find out there is a way around the approval #s that i was not aware but she was (not going to post that for obvious reasons) and when she called "them" it was actually her friend. So yeah, if they find her I will be making a court appearance. The best part, she did this at another one of our stores too... She knew what she was doing.

I have a fantasy of what i would have done as a store manager........... of course i would have been fired afterward but it would have been in good stewardship of humankind.

1- lock the entrance doors once the employee was rushed out to the hospital to be pr0nounced dead.

2- shut down the registers and tell my employees to go to the lounge and not return until i call for them.

3- ask all shoppers please come to customer service for an important announcement

4- since shoppers dont listen, announce this a second time.

5-since shoppers still dont listen, ask my employees to troll the aisles and ask the shoppers to report to customer service for an important but emergencey announcement.

6- once satisifed that all shoppers were where i could see them gathered at the customer service area with all registers closed, i could then begin.

7-"today there was a death of one of my employees due to a group effort on all of your parts to enter the store in an unsafe manner.  the gifts you have been so eager to get with no reguard for human life has blood on them.  At this time, I am asking you leave the store and let your carts reside were they are and come back at a later time when you have had a chance to absorb what you all as a group have done.  One or a dozen of you here today were aware of the fallen employee but chose to continue to your greedy dash for a discount gift.  Perhaps more than a dozen of you saw this happen but nonetheless, many of you have decided to ignore human life for the price of a couple dollars.  At this time, please exit the building no questions asked.  All registers please report to the doors to and assist customers in thier exit, everyone please leave now and return in three hours if you wish.  During this time, we here at walmart will take a few moments to remember one of our own and soon after, get back to work.  For your information and for my protection, this meeting and video will be placed on youtube so it can be viewed by anyone investigating the situation."

Now,, tell me that wouldnt hit the news.  Perhaps it would boost sailes instead of decrease them.  For once, someone in walmart stood up for ethics and a common good.

Its Wal-Mart though. LOW COST! LOW COST LOW COST!!!. If they are highly overstaffed for that morning and they evacuate the store then they are not making any money and the operatimg cost shoots up. They dont want to lose money like that!

No a human life is cheaper because no one can put a price on that can they.

I hope this makes people see how "great" Wal-Mart is. They know hat there should have been staff keeping people off the doors.  Its a emergeny safety hazard as it is. We line people down the front and side of the building. There is at most 10-15 people that are acutally standing infront of the doors, and they are a good 8-10 feet away from them.

I am really glad I work where I do. Great company and they care about my LIFE!
