Here's another reason. Do you typically challenge cars you think will beat you? No! When your car had a patchwork paint job, people probably thought "Redneck beater, I can take this guy." Now that it's painted, they're probably thinking, "Wow, sharp car, that thing really looks fast." and are too intimidated to challenge you. You're now like the Fonz, you don't even have to race, everyone just assumes you're cool. :burnout:

I don't really think the Sport looks fast (My opinion is from the inside looking out....so to speak).Maybe it's because I think the car looks more "odd" to most people.I haven't seen another Bird in a long time around this town.

Hopefully this Wednesday or Thursday,weather permitting,I'll have more progress pics.I'm waiting on the rear trim pieces to get here,and I plan on repainting the rear window trim and replacing the lower piece of that trim as the one currently on the car is cracked pretty bad.I also have to detail the interior again.

I have thought about getting a personalized tag for the back that says "not fast".

Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D
