I found paint chips didn't help me one bit. The colors looked too different on the cars. I spent alot of time driving around to car dealerships, new and used!

I've done that as well.I have a few ideas to fall back on.The Estate Green may give way to an alternate idea. We'll be checking out colors all over til we are able to get the car up there for paint.

Well,it appears....for now....that I'm taking the Sport up for paint Saturday morning.I'll take pics before paint, and after.

I installed the NOS door locks and ignition tumbler, glove box lock, and trunk lock after paint. All NOS parts and all with genuine "Turbo" keys.Cool.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

We're leaving around 8:30 this morning to take the Sport. We have an official color chosen, although I don't know the name of it yet, but,I'll have the name when I get there. It's a shade under Estate Green, and a shade above the citrus green on the new Mustangs. It was on a Jeep Liberty we saw.

Lately I've looked at the new Explorer with 2008 Stone Green Clearcoat Metallic coupled with black roof for my Fairlane.  It's a bit lighter than Jeep Rescue Green, but now I have to say that green looks pretty good.
