rear end ? Reply #5 – November 16, 2008, 11:20:03 PM If, on the other hand, you're talking about the cross-shaft, then I think if you stick with Ford Racing gears the same cross-shaft will work. Also, setting up the pinion depth is much easier if you're replacing OEM gears (or even other Ford Racing gears if they were properly set up) as the shim calculation becomes much easier.
