sequential light ?

put my sequencer unit on the 88 a while back.first
time i got caught after dark was last night . wife
wanted to know about the flickering light. every time
you put on the signals either way or hit the brake
the light out arrow flickers on each time.all the lamps
are working and operating correctly. any thought on why?
everything works and show being correctly wired. if
anyone will have something weird happen its me.

Sounds like the modification has reduced the current draw of the brake/turn signal lights.

With a stock setup, here is how it works.
With both bulbs on one side working, the lamp-out warning module "sees" 0.5 volts dropped across a resistance wire in the light circuit.
With one bulb out the module sees 0.25 volts dropped across the resistance wire. This causes the module to turn on the lamp out warning light.

Does this sound like something you want to try and fix?
It will require figuring out what size resistance to put in the circuit to satisfy what the module wants to see.

If you bought it from me you might try adjusting it a bit (if you bought it from others it probably isn't adjustable). The Ford lamp out system is quite unpredictable with sequencers - I had 'em in my '87 Sport with the systems sentry and the light didn't come on, and for the vast majority it's the same, but a few have had the issue (and as far as I know every one of them has been able to fix it by twiddling with the adjusters, at least I haven't heard otherwise)

Yes, there's a screw on the module. Clockwise slows it down, counter-clockwise speeds it up. Just try adjusting it either way to see if the light in the dash goes out
