245/50/16 Tires March 20, 2005, 12:45:32 AM Has anybody ever exspiremented with 245/50/16 on there T-Bird or Cougar. On my '86 I noticed that the tires are rubbing the front sway bar when you go lock to lock. Just want to know if its normal or not, I'm banking its not. Quote Selected

Re: 245/50/16 Tires Reply #2 – March 20, 2005, 03:57:08 PM Got them on my car. I had to put a 1/4in spacer in to keep them from rubbing the struts. I fixed that and now they rub the inner fender when I turn or hit a hard bump. Which you can see it also sits low from these pics. Quote Selected

The only issue I run into is a very slight rub when making a slow, hard right hand turn. like going into a parking space. Car is stock height, and the tires are spoogeho's.
