84 DIESEL Mark VII

Hey all,
Before I start, please excuse the "long" absence.  I guess after so long of not actually having a Fox car to my name, it got kinda depressing continuing to read about everybody else's.  Anyway, Lincoln did put the BMW diesel in the 4-door Lincoln Continentals (which are also considered Fox-bodies, right?) in the early '80's.  I'd also love to find a diesel Mark VII just for the rarity, and for the gas mileage.  I still think the Mark VII has one of the coolest and toughest looking bodies of the '80/'90 cars, yeah, even more so than the 'Birds/Cougars.  I remember loving them back in '84 before I was even driving.  Even though the diesel was supposedly available in '84 and '85, I've never seen an '85.  It must have been so unpopular that almost no '85's were built.  It would be cool for somebody to pick one up and drop the motor in a 'Bird or Cougar, but I bet it'd be a sumbitch to install.  They even had a German ZF tranny.

Sorry again for being gone for so long.  I have kinda missed it.  Later.

Yah, the 4 door contis are fox bodies. They're the biggest one ever made, but they are one lol. I see TD Mark VIIs show up for sale every once in a while on ebay or on the forums. The TD LSCs seem to be the rarest ones.

I still think this would be a cool car to  have. What really worries me about it is that it looks like its sat there for years... underbody rust!
