Bad deal man.
That car is one of the cheapy made in china knock off r/c's that are all over e-bay for cheap, plus finding parts for it if you break it will be impossible as none of the local shops carry them.
An 88TC with mods for an 86 bronco??????????????

well the TC has not seen the road since I bought it.....  it is just a lawn ornament right now.... A $5,000 ONE AT THAT!!!  I am taking it in again for an etest at a different place and IF it passes this time I will keep it...

I took it for a rip tonight and was actually surprised at how well it pulled....  dont remember it pulling that good before... LOL...  got a video of it, just taking forever to upload for some reason....

You're asking Fox Bird and Cougar guys if you should keep your Bird? What do you think we're going to say? lol. If you need a Bronco, buy it outright, but whatever you do, KEEP THE TC!!!!!!

shouldn't it be exempt from an E-test by now, or don't they do that up there?

The "Needs rear quarter work" part of the Bronco ad would have me running away. Those F-series trucks and Broncos fall apart once they start to rust. I know this first hand - I've got a low mile '95 F-150 4X4 rotting away to dust in the driveway. It had all the original sheet metal when I bought it two years ago, now both front fenders and the box are unsalvageable.

myself, I say keep the tc and fix what you need to to get it to pass the echeck, and then get a standalone for it so you can get it to run right:burnout: Mine is spinning through second now on the street with the megasquirt:D

That's fine, as long as the new car is a Ford of some kind, you're still okay....

MAYBE......  MAYBE not....  ;):D

and for all you TC gurus/purists....  it is going to a guy that thinks anyone that swaps out the 2.3 turbo for a 5.0L is retarded, and doesnt know what they are doing...  LOL...  (but he loved how the cougar pulled today  )  he is taking it to the track friday when he pics it up, and is expecting a 12.5 when he is done tweaking on it for a few hours in the morning...  his daily driver is a built Merkur...  NICE car too...
Gumby I told him about your Tbird and he is VERY interested in seeing it...
